Human Dimensions of Environmental Systems

The Human Dimensions of Environmental Systems seminar offers an intensive, interdisciplinary setting for graduate students to develop their research into the interactive nature of people and their physical environments. Students work in small groups on their research, developing the breadth and approaches of their research by incorporating the wisdom and insights offered by disciplines other than their own. It also offers students the opportunity to meet in small groups with guest scholars and speakers whose work shares our focus on humans and the environment.

The HDES seminar is now affiliated with SDEP and will take place Fall 2012, Wednesday afternoons at 3:30 (location TBA) under the guidance of Political Science Professor Michael Krassa.
